Job Description


SAIC is looking for a Digital Practice Product Manager.  This position will support our strategic move to products and managed services.  The ideal candidate will be able to:

  •        Support annual strategic planning through customer knowledge and planned product roadmaps
  •      Create and maintain product visions and product roadmaps in accordance with SAIC enterprise strategy
  •      Incorporate strategic alliance partner capabilities into product development and/or integration
  •      Develop clear, profitable lean business case around product(s) along with ROI hypothesis and off-ramps
  •      Define and articulate product value propositions and differentiators
  •      Oversees successful execution of product development
  •      Partner with ITO for opportunities to leverage product internally 

  •      Coordinate with supporting sales, training, and support organization to ensure successful delivery and continual improvement of product(s)

  •      For commercialized products, oversee the process of commercialization by delivering the necessary documentation and gate approvals

  •       Manage to a planned cost structure for product(s)

  •        Participate as contributing members of CoP around product line/practice area

  •       Work with internal clients to prototype and deliver products onto existing programs

  •       Collaborate with customer groups and solution architects to facilitate sales and to solicit customer needs and feedback

  •       Design, create, maintain and deliver product marketing materials

  •       Design, create and maintain product artifacts for internal and external stakeholders

  •      Support development of product training/certification path

  •       Evangelize product features (existing capabilities and future vision) both internally and externally



10+ Years with BA 13+ Years with MBA
  • Minimum of 5 years with hands on digital product management
  • At least 5 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products 
  • At least 5 years of experience in Agile product management
  • Strong agile product management experience including the ability to set vision, establish a roadmap, set goals, write stories and execute
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, collaboration, communication (written, verbal and technical), presentation, negotiation, influence and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, cloud solutions, and other key tech approaches
  • Experience managing the delivery of full-stack digital solutions
  • Must be knowledgeable/have experience in Federal contracting as well as FAR
