Summary:


SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst Senior. Position requires the individual to perform program analyst tasks, apply engineering/project management principles and administrative functions. The individual must be able to work with limited supervision as part of the program management team. The individual must work closely with the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) PMO, supporting the manager of Acquisition Support & Analytics.


Specific Requirements:

  • Provide advisory and analytical support for development of strategies, planning and implementation activities associated with the execution of fundamental changes in how the FAA Air Traffic Organization (ATO) conducts business. Focus on building, maintaining and analyzing schedules and budgets as well as support in planning, developing and implementing strategic plans and schedules; communication planning; develop, coordinate and obtain senior level management input and approval for planning agendas, logistics and communication of planning sessions; capturing and managing action item status.
  • Monitor program goals and provide activity target updates to executive leadership

  • Develop strategic plans and provide strategic planning consulting to assist the client in improving programmatic PMO oversight

  • Responsible for developing and analyzing weekly/monthly reports on business and program related metrics

  • Compose and deliver monthly newsletters/team updates

  • Develop and implement a communication plan/strategy as requested by the client

  • Ad-hoc program analyst and strategic planning tasking as requested by the client

  • Experience utilizing SharePoint

  • Setup, coordinate and manage meetings

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client satisfaction goals and objectives

  • Build relationships with individual programs and PMO leadership

  • Develop SOPs, guides/manuals and process improvements

  • Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards

  • Formulate agendas, briefings, presentations and other supporting artifacts for manager(s) as requested

  • Mentor and coach employees as needed based on requirements

    • Provide solutions for improvements

    • Improve efficiency of established processes and recommend new processes

    • Help new personnel transition into PMO Integrated Services & Analysis


Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in business or related fields from an accredited university and six (6) years or more of related experience; Master’s degree and four (4) years or more experience; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience
  • Moderate/Strong experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Moderate experience in programmatic/project management principles
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • 4 years experience with ATO 
  

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business or related fields from an accredited university and/or PMP certification 
  • Moderate experience in development and implementation of communication plans/strategies
  • Previous FAA experience with at least some knowledge of the NAS/PMO; JRC/AMS knowledge very beneficial
