SAIC is seeking a Quality Control Analyst for the Engineering, Development, Integration, and Sustainment (EDIS) program in support of the Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) task order in Colorado Springs, CO.   The EGS mission is to continuously deliver tactical C2 services, that when integrated with mission specific capabilities, will fully enable warfighting effects to maintain U.S. space dominance.

 

This position is the front line of contact for the support in maintaining and tracking EGS products as delivered to EGS sites ensuring availability and accessibility to Government personnel and associated contractors.  Includes supporting the implementation and enforcement of all EGS Enterprise Configuration Management (CM) policies, procedures, and controls across the operations and sustainment lifecycle states. Daily activities include providing support for tracking configuration changes, maintaining Hardware (HW) and Software (SW) inventories, license entitlements, activation keys, support agreements and HW warranties.

 
The candidates selected for these positions will:
  • Conduct mission specific hardware Physical Configuration Audit (PCA)
  • Support software quality assurance process audits
  • Support change control of the fielded configuration baselines
  • Provides support in tracking configuration changes using Government protocols, processes, and tools
  • Work with on-site personnel to maintain up to date preventative maintenance procedures
  • Submit change requests to for approval
  • Support receiving, replacing, and retiring of HW and SW inventory and components
  • Ensure quality assurance of EGS Service Center (i.e. Help Desk) documentation
  • Ensure that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements
  • Apply processes in accordance with DOD, Air Force, SMC and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), EGS Govt Supply Chain of Custody, and Property Asset Management requirements

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Must have 2+ years of experience in relevant work experience
  • Experience following Configuration Management processes within the IT field
  • Experience supporting audits to verify that delivered technical baseline configuration items meet expected products and versions
  • Experience with common software and operating systems
  • Familiarity with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and DoD 8570.01-M Chapter 3, 4, 10, 11
