Job Description


Job Description: Participates in the planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk.  Works with limited supervision as part of the program management team whose core responsibility is to, analyze, and report on data collected. Applies, implements, and trains Scrum principles and practices


Responsibilities may include:


  • Building, maintaining, and analyzing schedules and budgets.

  • Implementing financial policies and procedures in support of projects; establishment and maintenance of cost/schedule baselines

  • Preparation of written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances. 

  • Developing and analyzing weekly/monthly reports on business related metrics.

  • Identifying potential project trends and risks to management.

  • Support organizational teams in order to meet goals and delivery objectives.

  • Frequent use and application of industry practices, techniques, and standards. 

  • General application of concepts and principles.

  • Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. 

  • Participate in the development of solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity.

  • Often refer to policies, procedures and practices for guidance.

  • Work under general direction on routine work. 

  • Follow established procedures. 
  • Contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals. 

  • Apply and implement Scrum principles and practices.

  • Represent organization with internal company and external contacts on specific projects.




Education and Experience: 


  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain Secret Level security clearance and pass a background investigation for a position of Public Trust.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related discipline or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.

  • 3+ years or more experience in technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking.

  • Certified ScrumMaster® (preferred).


Required Proficiencies:


  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Project, Power Point, and Word.  General knowledge of government contract’s terms and conditions is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies and processes.

  • Strong writing and communication skills.
