JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC has an immediate need for a Lead EVM Program Scheduler to support the G-Army team in Huntsville, AL.
The Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) will ultimately replace several aging and outdated Army Management information systems across tactical logistics environments within the Army's Active and Reserve Components as well as the National Guard.
This position directly supports the Director of Programs and is responsible for the development and management the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). The individual will use scheduling best practices to develop multi-year technical project schedules that are tracked and monitored for status utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM). The candidate will be responsible for the baseline planning, statusing, tracking analysis, and reporting on all aspect of the GCSS-A project in the IMS.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Generate and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that includes all aspects for project execution. The IMS will be generated using Microsoft Project.
Support development of the CWBS and incorporate in the resource loaded IMS.
Develop, manage, and report overall program IMS health and provide performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
Generation of monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis reports delivered to the PMO which provides cost, schedule and technical data analysis of the Project execution.
Manage and facilitate weekly IMS status reviews with internal stakeholders.
Perform weekly IMS analysis and prepare reports to support the development of program plans that ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured.
Define scope timelines and IMS dependencies
Conduct critical path analysis
Identify risk and conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs)
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight(8) years or more experience; PhD and two (2) years related experience
CLEARANCE: Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance
