Join SAIC and the IC by supporting an R&D program that develops and empirically tests alternative approaches to structuring the counterfactual forecasting process in ways that can be readily incorporated into lessons-learned activities, related to improving analyses and analysis tradecraft. You will provide technical support and expertise to the Government Program Manager (PM) in all aspects of the program, to include: 

  • analysis of performers' technical deliverables and publications;
  • independent review and summary of research literature and emerging capabilities;
  • continuous survey and summarization of relevant government, academic, and contracted research;
  • assistance in coordination with potential mission and transition partners;
  • assistance in testing and evaluation; and
  • support of seedlings, prize challenges, and other work in related areas. 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience/Education:


  • Master's degree in a social science field
  • At least three (3) years of demonstrated psychology experience and human subject testing where applying experimental social science research methods is a significant element of work responsibilities
  • At least three (3) years of previous technical program or technical project management experience requiring directing multiple, concurrent tasks and stakeholders
  • A total of 9 years of relevant experience
  • Training and experience in applying experimental social science research methods
  • Psychology with training and experience in applying experimental research methods

  • Ability to proactively manage multiple, concurrent tasks

  • TS/SCI Clearance with Poly

  • Ability to work out of customer site/Bethesda, MD facility space

The following additional technical skill areas are relevant and desired, but are not required:

  • A Ph.D. in a social science.
  • Research experience in cognitive or social psychology, preferably Judgment and Decision Making research
  • Experience as a working analyst preparing products that include conclusions about complex domains; such as geopolitical analysis, financial analysis, organizational assessments, lessons learned red teams, etc
  • Two years' experience in the Intelligence Community (IC), including experience with requirements, CONOPS, and transition
