SAIC is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Arlington, VA to support a DOD customer.


Note: This role offers temporary work from home/ remote/ virtual work at home due to COVID-19.  Eventually the work will go back on site in Arlington, VA.

 

Job Duties:

  • Leads team of Process Improvement Analysts, evaluating products and services against established criteria and baselines, as well as trains TDMs on quality management.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement, quality audit and quality control across the TO, developing trend analysis, pattern analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Create, implement and manage the TO Quality Management Plan (QMP), performing as an independent identity, reporting directly to the TO program manager and the Government lead. 
  • Develop and optimize status reporting on all quality checks across the TO, working directly with the Technical Direction Managers (TDM) on compliance and correction action plans.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; OR Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; OR PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience

  • Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

  • 10+ years of relevant Quality Assurance/Business Process Improvement experience

  • Industry standard Quality Control certifications required (ISO, Six Sigma, CMMI etc.).

  • Experience implementing and/or managing a continuous improvement program.

  • Experience directing quality tasks that impact technical, schedule, and cost risks.

  • Strong attention to detail, have exceptional time management skills,

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced collaborative environment. 

  • Ability to learn, communicate, and track task order, customer, and corporate quality standards, as is the ability to capture and/or establish quality assurance processes for complex tasks and products.
