Seeking a Staff Officer to support NGA’s Office of Special Programs. This position will independently perform a wide range of functions and tasks, which require vision, and proficiency. Experience in taking instructions, meeting deadlines, and completing actions in accordance with established administrative processes and procedures. Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office Applications. Provides administrative and technical support as tasked, to include: filing; answering phone; maintenance of schedules/calendars for senior personnel; maintaining organization charts and emergency contact information/recall rosters; meeting coordination; track/coordinate/monitor internal and external tasks; review/edit incoming and outgoing correspondence for accuracy, content and quality; coordinate and maintain travel plans.
Associate degree in a related field plus relevant work experience of at least 5 years.
Significant experience directly supporting SES or equivalent in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet research, and be able to use databases and web-based management reporting systems.
High-level proficiency of the English language, both written and oral.
General knowledge of or experience with National Geospatial Intelligence Agency mission, structure, and processes.
Experience with security facility administration including SCI Facilities management.
Demonstrated ability to synchronize schedules, plan, track, and execute activities.
