Job Description


Join SAIC's team as a Exercise Planner TAF Analyst in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is in support of the US Army's JPMRC-IS Instrumentation Training Analysis and Computer Modeling and Simulations Support (ITACSS) section.


This opportunity is Part Time on Call. Work will be performed in 2-3 30 day exercises per year.

This position is contingent upon award of contract.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide continuous  planning and coordination support throughout the JELC through exercise execution, BCT AAR, take home package and lead the 196th IN BDE/JPMRC internal/organic AAR within 30 days of exercise end.  
  • Areas of support include: Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Field Artillery, Sustainment, Engineer, Aviation, Ground Maneuver, Cavalry, and Infanty/Armor support at brigade or higher levels.


  • Requires an Active Secret Clearance and US Citizenship
  • Demonstrated experience with at least three (3) years relevant experience within the past ten (10) years at a Combat Training Center (CTC) or CTC-like organization in one or more of the exercise duty disciplines. 
  • Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated operator-level experience in Army Mission Command Networks and Systems (MCNS) is required. 
  • Capability to produce doctrinally correct Operational Orders (OPORDs) and fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs) in accordance with guidance from senior military leaders as required.    
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) at the Brigade or higher level, training environments, Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming (LVC-G)  technologies and concepts, and associated policies is required.
