JOB DESCRIPTION: Manages the implementation and operation of contractor support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) international customers in support of the Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) training programs. This includes traininig for international customers on ship systems including instruction and technical training in support of Aegis Combat system, Ship Self Defense System (SSDS), Tactical Data Links, and other systems that can be used in the ships Combat Information Center (CIC). Responsible for staff development, supervision, and management of contractor staff globally. Supports the activities across CONUS and OCONUS locations as well as aboard Naval ships. Instruction includes delivery of Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training, as well as cCurriculum development and maintenance of courses. Includes multiple instructional delivery methods to include: classroom taught, computer based, and distributed training. Includes managing training and curriculum development for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers as well. CSCS program designs and administers training programs to train all levels of personnel. The PM for International Programs is also responsible for reporting and briefing contract status, milestones, and schedules periodially with the PM and any government and FMS stakeholders.
1. Five (5) years Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program experience with emphasis in financial forecasting, contract planning or administration, lifecycle support, project leadership or program management.
2. Includes five (5) years of exerperience in a Naval Training Environment.TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience
