JOB DESCRIPTION:


SAIC is seeking an ERP Financial Analyst who is experienced in Navy ERP to join our team located in Indian Head, MD.



This position is work from home temporarily due to COVID-19. Candidates must have the ability to work onsite in Indian Head, MD when restrictions are lifted.


This candidate will conduct operations in support of the NAVSEA Navy ERP Business Office and will coordinate events and provide expert business process and ERP solution consultation. He/she will use their ERP expertise to respond to inquiries, troubleshoot/resolve/and or escalate technical issues, open and close service desk tickets, and correlate events and incidents for management of Information Technology (IT) and Business Operation Services.
 
JOB DUTIES:
  • Support NAVSEA financial management functions – primarily financial posting of Navy ERP transactions including: Time and Attendance, Funding Document (FD), Contract, MILSTRIP Order, and Purchase Card transactions
  • Support financial related interfaces
  • Provide over the shoulder Navy ERP training as required
  • Support month and year end closing
  • Support audit data calls
  • Provide analysis and support for Navy ERP and NAVSEA business process requirements
  • Perform regression testing related to financial transactions
  • Support maintenance of business rules and training material 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


Education: Bachelor’s Degree and six (6) years; Master’s and four (4) years or PhD and 0 years related experience required (4 years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree)


Clearance: Must possess an Active DoD Secret security clearance to begin employment


Required Skills:

  • Must have at least four (4) years of Navy ERP experience and Accounting experience (e.g. Understanding of General Ledger)
  • Tier-2 Help Desk experience supporting ERP/Financials
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills
  • Proficient problem-solving skills
  • Must work well independently; have the ability to interface with customers in senior/executive level positions
