JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst in Patuxent River, MD to provide specialized programmatic and Life Cycle Aviation Logistics support for the NAVAIR PMA209 Tactical Communications ARC-210 Radio program. 


ABOUT THE POSITION: You will take the lead role in ensuring the timely collection, assessment, and reporting of logistics and programmatic information. Support includes the coordination and management of records; procurement documentation development; analytical support, and assistance in milestone development for current projects for Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, Special Operations Command (SOCOM), other Department of Defense (DoD) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). In addition this position provides logistics, program analyst, configuration management, and data management functions to support the development and sustainment of various projects. You will engage with Subject Matter Experts (SME), Test & Evaluation personnel, and commercial organizations which includes but is not limited to:

  • Analyze and evaluate the impact of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) on materials, cost, schedule, logistics, and technical documentation
  • Incorporate configuration changes in accordance with the CM plan for the system, subsystem, or component
  • Provide CM support functions on the assigned radios
  • Maintain the CM database by updating the established configuration baseline based on periodic reporting provided by the PM, OEM, ECP process and material transfers
  • Provide configuration assistance in the definition of CM products, review of CM deliverables, and review of proposed configuration baseline changes
  • CM support shall be provided during the development of ECPs
  • Experience with logistics support areas including Human System Integration, Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) analysis, Reliability, Maintainability, Availability (R/M/A) support, value engineering, readiness and maintenance
  • Providing administrative support to program lifecycle execution, to include document review and editing, development and maintenance of trackers, logistics, meeting coordination, and stakeholder data collection and coordination.
  • Assisting with the management and tasks in support of new research initiatives.  
  • Provide administrative support for internal requirements and process, to include but not limited to data management (updates, review, reporting), inventory, and records management.
  • Overseeing and analyzing performance to plan, identifying budget deviations, and providing recommendations and resolutions to the Government PM. 
  • Responsible for Acquisition Lifecycle Support; Integrated Logistics Support, Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and Interface Support. 
  • Responsible for performing ILS planning in support of Engineering changes (ECs) and Field Changes (FCs) as well as Configuration Control Board (CCB) /Change Requests (CR) logistics reviews. 
  • Review Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Specifications, Request for Proposals and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)
  • Review and track contract deliverables and milestones; track and report performance to plan.
  •  Provide project support during project reviews, Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR), Test & Evaluation (T&E) and/or Logistics events, to include coordination, reporting status (C/S/P), and project closeout.
  • Work with systems engineering in support of system definition, development, integration, verification methods, modeling and simulation, test and evaluation, supportability efforts, interoperability requirements across a wide range of aircraft hardware and software systems.
  • Provide support for SETR events (SRR, PDR, CDR)



  • High School diploma and seven (7) years or more related experience; Or Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Or Masters and one year of related experience.
  • Programmatic experience within the phases of the project lifecycle. DoD acquisition process including program management, business management, and providing full product life cycle support guidance to the Program Office  
  • Proficient with MS Applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and within group settings, with varying experience levels.
  • Demonstrated experience with developing briefings and presenting material to various stakeholders, to include senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated skills, to include: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen with an Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Aviation Avionics or Supply military experience a plus.
