Description

SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead for the Engineering, Development, Integration, and Sustainment (EDIS) program.  This position is to support the Space and Missile Systems Center Advanced Systems & Development Directorate (SMC/ AD) to develop, deploy, modernize, and expand the EDIS program and its customers.  The position is located in Albuquerque, NM.

 
The candidates selected for these positions will:
  • Working lead of a small team of system engineers
  • Use knowledge of systems engineering processes, methods, tools, and program roles to develop, implement, and deploy integrated systems engineering solutions for Aerospace Ground Equipment.
  • Capture stakeholder and system requirements and develop Logically Derived and Linked Requirements, Architecture Descriptions, Interface Definitions and System Diagrams.
  • Work closely with the Electrical, Software and System Engineers to determine the correct requirements and equipment specifications to accommodate the mission. 
  • Participates in engineering reviews and follows and enforces engineering processes

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline with 9+ years of experience in the areas of systems engineering developing Systems Engineering work products, including: System Specifications, Logically Derived and Linked Requirements, Architecture Descriptions,  Interface Definitions, System Diagrams, Trade Studies, etc. 
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • Ability to model complex systems using SysML, UPDM, BPMN, and/or UAF.  As well as working knowledge of systems engineering tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody and SparxEA.
  • Experience in developing a digital engineering environment
