The SAIC OMES-II Program Management Office (PMO) is adding a new position to serve as the Small Business Liaison to support satisfaction of OMES-II Small Business (SB) contractual requirements.
The selectee will report directly to the OMES-II Program Manager, and will work with other members of the PMO and SAIC corporate staff to understand the SB requirements, current status of overall performance against SB target goals, implement actions to ensure progress and achievement of SB goals for respective SB Business Type Categories, i.e., SB, SDB, HBCU/MI, HUBZone, WOSB, VOSB, and SDVOSB. The SAIC OMES-II office is located in Lanham, MD however during the Covid-19 pandemic, support will be performed via telework.
Roles and Responsibilities: The selectee for this position will be responsible for all business related activities related to SB contractual requirements, performance, and measures taken to achieve target goals. This will involve direct coordination with SB subcontractors that are affiliated with the OMES-II contract, communicating contract job opportunities, solicitation of potential candidates, coordination with appropriate Hiring Managers and SAIC Recruiters, placement of candidates upon selection, and ensuring contractual activities are coordinated/completed to enable specified subcontractors to incorporate support into respective Task Orders. This selectee will also coordinate employment opportunities with HBCU/MI organizations that are or will be subcontractor partners with SAIC for employment positions. The selectee will coordinate with the specified complement of subcontractor representatives to provide and coordinate updates, reports, associated metrics, and resolution of any SB related issues/problems that may be encountered. Additional duties may include coordination of outreach programs for engagement of internship, cooperative, and cohort programs with local high schools and colleges/universities. While support is primarily dedicated to the OMES-II contract, similar support may/will be provided for other SAIC contracts as needed/assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and eight years(8) or more experience.
