Description
SAIC has an immediate opening for a Demand Management Analyst. The successful candidate will work within an agile development team to create and mature an Information Technology (IT) Demand Management visualization prototype. The team will evaluate mission needs and translate them into future demand for IT services (e.g., bandwidth, processing, storage, etc.). As the prototype matures, the team will ingest current IT system utilizations, current capacities, and perform data analysis to shape and prioritize investment areas, capture costs, and assess projected mission impacts, and deliver Analysis of Alternatives to senior organizational leaders. The team’s ultimate focus is to achieve customer support for the implementation of a fully integrated Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) solution.
MBSE is the practice of efficiently producing virtual prototypes to explore and communicate requirements, designs, test behavior, assess alternatives, and validate assumptions of capabilities, all while significantly reducing both costs and delivery times.
Responsibilities:
Support the team with prototype data collection, normalization, and visualization within Tableau
Assist with creating and applying mathematical models to identify current capacity limitations, and project future customer IT demand
Perform data aggregation and analysis
Conduct investment and recapitalization analysis to inform financial strategies and impacts against program timelines
Package and present findings to senior decision makers
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and 0 years related experience.
Clearance to start: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Possess knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices
Communications skills to be able to interface with all levels of management
Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis and evaluations- making recommendations and providing professional advice and assistance to include preparing criteria and analytical aids, briefings, reports and presentations
Ability to apply technical knowledge in proper context for management review
Skilled/comfortable working in high-tempo environment, able to be flexible and to adjust to dynamic political, technical and/or fiscal challenges
Ability to establish trust-relationships as well as build and lead highly functioning, multi-faceted and “joint” teams
