Note: This role supports Army National Guard Enterprise Operations and offers temporary work from home/ remote/ virtual work as part of a virtual team due to COVID-19.
Responsible for requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation support for new service development requests and or non-standard projects requiring a diverse multi-functional technical expertise.
Work closely with the customer, project or program manager, the various operational towers, and third party vendors.
Utilize systematic and methodical engineering processes to develop multi-functional architectural designs for new and existing enterprise services
Participate in the investigation and resolution of complex issues escalated for problem management
Serve as the primary technical architect for multiple IT projects
Develop and recommended procedures and standards for Customer IT infrastructure improvement
Assist the Customer in developing strategic plans for IT resource utilization
Assist the Customer in determining future budgetary requirements including the creation of cost comparison models
Recommend new technologies which can be exploited to address complex business, organizational and technical issues
Organize, analyze, and prepare reports or presentations of technical data and information and brief recommendations to account leadership and the Customer
May perform other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience
Current Security+ CE, CISSP, or CASP Certification.
Be able to obtain a ITIL Foundation Certification within 60 days of start date.
Active DOD Secret Clearance is required
Expertise in developing detailed technical approach documentation and cost models, and assisting in the development of project plans and schedules is required.
10+ year’s multi-functional technical experience
8 years of solid IT Systems engineering or solutions architecture experience supporting large enterprise environments
4+ years architecting and actively managing Windows Server 2012/2012 R2
Experience in architectural design and advanced Active Directory management including Group Policy Object (GPO) management
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, required when interacting with customers, colleagues, and other technical staff

Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good analytical and collaborative skills
