Responsibilities:


1.      Support Program contract management activity; work within the Program Office to execute tasks and coordinate with other functional areas

2.      Develop Contracting strategies, courses of action, and artifacts to support Program objectives

3.      Coordinate closely with Program leadership and the Contracting Officer to identify, manage, and execute contract management tasks

4.      Lead, participate, and/or facilitate contracts-related meetings and events with stakeholders and development contractors.

5.      Support evaluation of Contractor proposals and provide expert recommendations to Program Manager and Contracting Officer for acceptance or modification.  

6.      Track deliverable and task statuses, coordinate with team members to drive outstanding issues to closure

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • 5 years of Federal Contracts Management experience; preferably in Software-intensive Programs
  • Experience creating contract documentation; understanding of FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) and/or Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Experience providing support and analysis for managing development contracts and working with Contracting Officers
  • Ability to assess contractor performance for Software-intensive programs
  • Ability to communicate effectively via both verbal and written methods
  • Ability to generate written reports, briefing materials, and other deliverables
            

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 


Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience


 

US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
