Job Description


SAIC is recruiting for an Intelligence Support Analyst, working with a diverse team of analysts, linguists, cultural experts, and operations officers, focuses on creating and recognizing targeting opportunities and strategies in the cyber-realm.  Responsible for supporting a variety of internal and external partners to share information and leverage resources in furtherance of mission goals and objectives.   In addition, this position will provide support services to ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) procedural requirements, policies, and directives, which include database operations, developing and presenting status reports, suspense date monitoring and enforcement, milestone reviews, and internal/external coordination across the Dept of Navy (DoN), DoD, and US Government (USG) agencies.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Assist coordination and deconfliction of operational activities within the DoN, DoD, and USG agencies.

  • Routinely respond and provide recommendations to questions, concepts, and proposals throughout the lifespan of an operation.

  • Conducts research within all-sources of intelligence, including IMINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SMINT (social media) to provide recommendations and courses of actions to government leads

  • Assist intelligence and analysis operations through simple and/or complex database searches Ability to research various topics in open source sites and popular, legacy, and new social media, blogs, and mobile applications.

  • Ability to multitask and execute short timeline requests efficiently and accurately.

  • Address security requirements and procedures to properly handle and store/archive classified materials.

  • Coordinate records and comply with records management instructions, records retention/disposal guidance, and produce annual inspections of file plans and records.

  • Maintain, operate, and provide training on systems such as OneNote and operational databases.

  • Produce incident, threat, and information reports

  • National Capitol Region and CONUS Travel ~10%









  • Active TS/SCI with Poly

  • Bachelors degree and two or more years of experience, or Associates Degree and four or more years of experience; or eight years of experience in lieu of a degree.

  • 2-4 years of experience within the US military or US intelligence community

  • Experience reviewing, understanding, and analyzing classified and unclassified DoD documents.

  • Working knowledge of government operational databases and Microsoft Office products (including OneNote).

  • Working knowledge of popular, legacy, and new social media, blog sites, and mobile applications.

  • Experience with one or more of the following intelligence community databases:  HOTR, Harmony, TAC, M3, Open Source Center, LNI, Wire, etc.

  • Knowledge of security requirements for proper handling and storage of classified materials.

  • Ability to leverage established relationships with other DoD components and agencies.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and common office software applications.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficient research and analytical skills.     

  • Strong knowledge of military operations, terminology, and structure

  • Ability to work well on a team and independently

  • Ability to travel throughout the National Capitol Region (including Quantico)
