Join SAIC and support the Intelligence Community by providing technical support to a research program focused on biometric recognition and identification at altitude and high range distances. In this position you will assist the government project manager with managing the project and assessing the technical parameters and biometric signatures fused with facial recognition, for usable personal identification.

Bachelors' degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, or relevant engineering fields (i.e., electrical, computer, biometrics, systems, mechanical, software) with six plus (6+) years of work experience in one of these fields or a Masters' degree with two plus (2+) years of work experience.
Two (2) years’ experience in the identity intelligence or biometrics domains.
Two (2) years’ experience with system design and integration.
Two (2) years’ experience with R&D of image processing.
Two (2) years’ experience with R&D of computer vision.
Two (2) years’ experience with R&D of software engineering.
One (1) years’ experience with R&D of machine learning or deep neural network algorithms.
One (1) years’ experience with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) process for human subject research. If not direct experience but exposure to preparations and engagements with the IRB, please provide level of engagement during the interview process with SAIC hiring manager.
One (1) years’ experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team.
Two (2) years’ experience of project management support/activities such as creating program plans, work breakdown structures, and milestone schedules.
One (1) years’ experience with application of technical evaluation and assessment techniques.
Ability to develop succinct, comprehensive, understandable documentation using complex data from multiple sources.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with integration and cross-community/stakeholder collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks within the allotted timeline.
Experience preparing and briefing presentations to Senior Leadership or Research Directors.
Strong organizational and problem solving skills - must be detail oriented.
Ability to be granted a TS/SCI Clearance and CI Polygraph.
