SAIC has an immediate opening for a USN Logistics Specialist III in San Diego, CA.

Support life cycle maintenance and integrated product support for US Navy C4I systems.
Prioritizing multiple tasks to meet time critical requirements.
Coordinating with various functional areas to ensure timely receipt, testing, approval, packaging and documentation of inventory to meet fleet requirements.
May also include interpreting and evaluating demand history, analyzing end of life impacts on existing inventory, forecasting future demand based on fielding plans, researching and estimating cost trends for existing and future inventory, and providing recommendations to customers for inventory management updates.
Have direct contact with customers and fleet users, and demands performance that is both detail oriented and time critical.
Required Education, Clearance and Experience:
High School with at 5 years of experience.
US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
Specific, recent and extensive experience providing logistics support in a DOD environment.
Have a thorough knowledge and documented use of software systems/databases such as CAV, SABAR, CMPro, and/or ERP.
A clear understanding of DOD and US Navy inventory management is critical to success in this position, including familiarity with INCO, OBRP and PBL spares, as well as the management tools and periodic reports associated with those spares inventories.
Technical experience with testing equipment and peripherals is highly desired. Position will involve testing parts for functionality, as well as charging UPS batteries.
Hands-on experience with PMW-160 systems a plus.
Ability to obtain a Forklift License
