SAIC has an opportunity for a Print Support Lead in Cookeville, TN!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as a peer leader of FAA Print Support Technicians to provide mentoring, guidance, coaching and track adherence of assigned Remote Deskside techs. 
  • Provide printer specific support to 6,000+ printers deployed through the FAA's environment, including printer monitoring, configuration, maintenance, changes and all other possible printer related support items which are possible from a remote location
  • Determine when on-site/hands-on support is required for dispatch of a local technician ONLY when absolutely required.
  • Motivate and lead Print Support Technicians to meet set goals and objectives   
  • Interact daily with staff and/or functional peer groups and customers. 
  • Communicate moderately complex or technical information, ideas and results effectively in both oral and written form
  • Resolves related technical problems and answers queries through various channels such as telephone, chat, email, and tickets submitted online. 
  • Diagnose, identify, isolate, analyze, and resolve problems utilizing technical skills, historical database records, and knowledgebase documentation. 


Work is performed in a 24/7/365 environment.   Shifts will be determined at a later date.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • High School and eight (8) years or more experience, Associates and six (6) years or more experience
  • Excellent customer service skills.    
  • Strong leadership & coaching skills
  • Knowledge to provide printer support, including printer monitoring, configuration, maintenance, changes and all other possible printer related support items
  • Ability to remotely troubleshoot user issues and determine what assistance is needed.

 

Certifications Required

Candidate must already hold the following certifications or be willing to obtain within 1 year of hire.

  • HDI Support Center Analyst
  • HDI Support Center Team Lead
  • KCS v6 Fundamentals

 

Required Clearance

  • Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance prior to starting work.
