Job Description: SAIC is hiring a Program Analyst in Patuxent River, MD to provide program management, technical, and business analysis support for teams ranging from commercial acquisition to developmental ACAT 1 programs within a NAVAIR Program Office.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating/Participating in all levels of Program and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) meetings, working groups, review boards, and various milestone events.
  • Collecting, organizing, and interpreting technical and financial information related to aircraft acquisition and product programs.
  • Developing presentation materials, meeting minutes and action tracking based on data collection utilizing Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Participating in Risk Management & CDRL management activities
  • Facilitating communication between stakeholders.
  • Other engineering tasks as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related technical discipline. 
  • At least 4 years of recent and relevant experience with program engineering and program management activities.
  • Prior experience supporting NAVAIR programs. 
  • Will also consider an Associate’s degree in Business, Management, or related technical discipline and 8 years of recent experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Will also consider a HS diploma and 10 years relevant technical experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior experience participating in Risk Management & CDRL management activities
  • Familiarity with DoD policy and procedures including:
    • Defense Acquisition Guidebook
    • DoD Instruction 5000.02
    • SECNAV INST 5000.2E
    • DoD Risk Issue and Opportunity Management Guide

Security Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with the ability to obtain an Interim DOD Secret clearance prior to start date.
