Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Military Health Analyst to provide staff support to Action Officers/Chairs of MHS Clinical Communities, work groups, and a variety of military healthcare projects for the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This is a junior to mid-level position. This is a REMOTE position. Responsibilities include:

  • Meeting management;
  • Drafting policies, presentation briefs, information papers, etc. in response to senior leadership direction and information requests (e.g., reports to Congress, GAO audits);
  • Implementing evidence-based clinical pathways, and optimization of medical specialty lines; and
  • Monitoring and directing day-to-day operations of the assigned tasks to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that contract and client goals and objectives are met, and that services and projects are being accomplished effectively and efficiently.
NOTE: This is not an IT/health IT position.


  • Must have a Bachelors and three (3) years or more related experience; Masters and one (1) years or more experience. 
  • Graduate degree in healthcare is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in military health
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to meet security requirements for obtaining a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Ability to work with clients and program management team on development of military health practices, policies, guidelines, and standards aimed towards maximizing quality, safety, outcomes, access, and cost effectiveness of military healthcare.
  • Facilitate discussions with subject matter experts, focus groups, and work groups to facilitate military health governance activities and reporting.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with DoD senior leadership, research, and clinical subject matter experts, clinical providers, and education and training professional staff to provide analytical support, translate information, develop insights, and compile information for clients.
