Join SAIC's team as a Senior TAF Analyst in Schofield Barracks, Wahiawa, Hawaii. This is in support of the US Army's JPMRC-IS Instrumentation Training Analysis and Computer Modeling and Simulations Support (ITACSS) section.
This position is contingent upon award of contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs as the Tactical Analysis Facility (TAF) Senior Analyst and the team Site Lead/Project Manager.
Performs Training Analysis and Feedback (TAF) duties to support rotational unit training within Operations Group at the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability at Schofield Barracks, HI.
Leadership responsibilities include: supervision, coordination, scheduling, training and managing of subordinate contractor personnel supporting the Observer Controller/Trainer (OC/T) teams with situational awareness, doctrinal principles and tactical knowledge.
Ensure that all members of the team are productive and resolves problems as they arise as well as develops work plans/schedules in order to meet contractual requirements.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively supervise others and interface with client representatives on a regular basis.
Must be able to handle the stress of a fast-paced, technical work environment. Sound judgment and problem solving skills are also important.
The TAF Team Lead regularly exercises independent judgment providing oversight, supervision and training of subordinate TAF Specialists who operate workstations across the Mission Command and Network Systems in the preparation and presentation of multi-media products for and during After Action Reviews (AAR).
Must be able to work independently with minimum guidance.
Requires an Active Secret Clearance and US Citizenship
Requires recent Combat Training Center – Instrumentation System (CTC-IS) experience within the last 5 years
Demonstrated operator-level experience in Army Mission Command Networks and Systems (MCNS)
Demonstrated experience in the use of distributive simulations in support of Army and Joint LVCG training events, mission rehearsals and experiments.
Demonstrated familiarity with Army and Joint operations
Demonstrated ability to manage the integration of feedback from MCNS systems, CTC-IS systems, LVCG exercises/events, and direct feedback from OC/Ts using the concepts, principles and specifies of current US Army Doctrine, the Combat Training Center Methodology.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience supervising operational analysis; collection of information data, audio and video products for construction of Platoon, Company, Task Force, and BCT Multi-Media AARs and THPs, which summarizes the Rotational Training Unit’s (RTU) and Staff’s performance during engagement simulation exercise training.
