Description

SAIC is seeking an exceptional individual to support the Air Force's next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system acquisition. Our customer is the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Program Office located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. 


This will be a long-term project with the weapon system anticipated to remain operational until 2075. This is a massive development effort with many opportunities. We are seeking an experienced Program Analyst with a willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment. 

This is a great opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and challenging development and acquisition efforts in the DoD with a great company. 

This position requires the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision, exercising initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

- Support the USAF in management and evaluation of the GBSD program

 

- Advising and Assisting the US Air Force in regard to the GBSD program acquisition cost, schedule & performance

 

- Oversee development, review, and evaluation program risks

  

- Review status of project and provide feedback on major program activities

 

- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization having excellent presentation skills
  • Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Point
  • Experience with risk management and tacking
  • Must have a current Active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Risk Management, Red to Green (RTG) plans, and Forecasting EACs, and managing budgets
  • Experience working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT)
  • Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Project
  • Earned value management knowledge
