SAIC is seeking a Senior Instructor TCCC in Addis Ababa,
Set and enforce standards for Trainers’ behavior during all presentations to include safety, professionalism, and uniformity with established NAEMT guidelines.
Create and adjust schedule of classes and their appropriate instructors to meet the demands of host nation and the TC3 contract requirements.
In conjunction with the Project Manager and Logistic Specialist, inventory all training equipment issued by DOS. Ensure equipment is prepared for daily classes, cleaned and securely stored.
Ensure all host nation student instructors receive proper training and mentoring.
Ensure all host nation Course Coordinators and Medical Directors are trained and mentored in their duties and responsibilities.
Ensure all documentation for students’ attendance and performance tests are recorded on paper and digitally scanned.
Ensure all documentation for student instructors’ attendance and performance tests are recorded on paper and digitally scanned.
Ensure all documentation required by the NAEMT agency for full accreditation of the training site is submitted in a timely manner.
Required Education and Experience
Must be designated as a Regional Facility Staff Instructor by the NAEMT and in good standing with NAEMT leadership.
Must have one (1) or more years delivering TC3 training to foreign militaries.
Must possess current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification as an EMT. (Registration must be valid prior to deployment and remain valid throughout the period of deployment).
Must possess current approved CPR professional rescuer, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and advanced trauma training credentials (i.e., Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent).
Must have experience/knowledge in current Tactical Combat Casualty Care guidelines.
2 or more years of general experience as a paramedic.
Fluent command of the English language.
Two (2) or more years of experience as a Regional Faculty Staff Instructor with NAEMT.
Two (2) or more years of experience in a clinic setting (urgent care, emergency room, etc.
Graduate of Special Operations Combat Medics Courrse.
French / Arabic / Portuguese Language
