Job Description


SAIC is looking for a TCTS Logistics Manager to support Naval Aviation, Air Force and Air National Guard customers with support of the Tactical Combat Training System TCTS on aircraft ranges. PMA 205 is the primary sponsor. 


The position will support the Tactical Air Range Integration Facility (TARIF) located on the NAWCWD China Lake facility near Ridgecrest California and the Test and Evaluation/Training Threat/Target Systems (T4S) contract. This position is contingent on SAIC winning the T4S contract. Award selection is expected early next calendar year.


  • Bachelors and eleven (11) years or more experience; Masters and nine (9) years or more experience; PhD or JD and seven (7) years or more experience; or fifteen (15) years of experience without a degree.
  • A minimum of 15 years working with air training range logistics from either the operational or program office level, such as PMA-205.  This work shall include coordinating as liaison with range customers and sponsors, managing depot-level repairables, managing inventory and preparing plans, and documentation and paperwork as related to logistics. 
  • Has demonstrated an understanding of how to use the current logistics management applications, such as MAXIMO. RAMPOD, and SMO depot databases to provide logistics forecasting for parts replacement, inventory control, and parts obsolescence. 
  • Able to prepare and present briefs on the development/project status to large groups (40 or more attendees). 
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance.
