Conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. Provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements. The intelligence analysis will cover a wide range of fields to include, but not limited to, counterterrorism, biometrics/identity intelligence, open source analysis, threat finance analysis, HUMINT analytical support, and space/counterspace analysis. Analyst will support the following responsibilities:
o Provide intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR)
o Monitor and analyze all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for the countries in the AORs
o Research, author, and coordinate threat assessments and all manner of intelligence products to senior leadership
o Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations
o Research, compile, evaluate, analyze, and disseminate all-source intelligence data focused on threats from insurgent organizations and conventional ground forces in response to national intelligence priorities.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
o Must have active TS/SCI with Poly
o Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.
o Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.
o Ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conﬂict resolution.
o Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
o Experience: 12 years related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
o Education: Master’s degree, or Bachelor’ s degree with an additional 5 years of related senior experience (17 total)
