SAIC is seeking a Microsoft SharePoint Business Analyst in Kansas City. This role is focused on analyzing existing SharePoint solutions and data sources to improve usability and usage. The role includes working independently gathering and analyzing data in support of user needs. The role will provide business process improvement support to effectively create, exchange, manage, and share content on Microsoft SharePoint. The role will develop, administer, and support Microsoft SharePoint with out-of-the-box features and optimize custom solutions as needed by the business. This role will configure Microsoft SharePoint as needed, deploy new solutions, support user issues and help solve technical problems. We are looking for an individual who is exceptional at problem solving, has good judgement and someone with the ability to come up to speed quickly.
Participate in and manage Microsoft SharePoint Server projects/solutions.
Expertise configuring form libraries, lists, workflows, team sites, content management sites, user permissions, enterprise search, security, and reporting services.
Configuring Microsoft SharePoint out of the box solutions.
Developing and customizing Microsoft SharePoint solutions.
Assist Business Partners in the process of identifying business needs, prioritizing, planning, functional business area Microsoft SharePoint projects.
Responsible for creating automated business process improvement solutions using web forms, metrics, workflows, and dashboards.
Improve operational efficiencies and automate business processes by developing Microsoft SharePoint workflow solutions.
Research platform issues, debug and solve technical problems.
Create end user training/reference documents and train key users on system functionality as needed.
Provides input towards Microsoft SharePoint governance, enterprise vision, strategy, policies, and best practice
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related technical discipline with at least 2 years' experience designing and developing Microsoft SharePoint solutions
Experience with Microsoft Online and SharePoint Server 2016
Experience with SharePoint Designer 2013
Experience with both Classic and Modern sites and pages
Experience with integrating SharePoint with OneNote and Teams
Experience in the implementation and management of Microsoft SharePoint-based intranets or content management systems.
Experience in design and development of Microsoft SharePoint no-code / out of the box functionality.
Experience in development and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint solutions.
Experience with business process improvement methods and tools.
Possess excellent oral and technical written communications.
Ability to obtain a government NACI background investigation.
Experience with enterprise business intelligence tools.
Experience in collection and organization of data into web-based reports and rich visuals.
