SAIC will support the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) cybersecurity mission to ensure HHS can actively protect the vital health information with which it is entrusted, respond to existing and emerging cybersecurity threats, and continue to enhance the program to ensure HHS has the capability and capacity to respond to new and emerging requirements, technologies and threats. The areas under the Healthcare and Public Health – Cybersecurity Engagement, Reporting, and Communication Support Services Task Lead will include:
Overseeing a consistent, quality, and maturing cybersecurity support approach for client's Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO).
Recommending a strategic cybersecurity direction to promote a culture of information security and privacy, and directly supports documenting the overall strategic plan enabling the HHS OIS cybersecurity mission and its resources.
Providing overall executive support services to include maintaining a cybersecurity service portfolio, milestone tracking, templates development and implementations, and workflow facilitation and deployment.
Delivering services and support to the OCISO Communications and Engagement mission ensuring all OIS identified communications, reports, initiatives, released documentation, presentation resources, and related messaging are accurately and consistently developed, reviewed, conveyed, tracked, and stored to and for appropriate stakeholders - both internal and external to HHS.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field, or equivalent experience and six (6+) years of cybersecurity experience including some lead/management experience.
Cybersecurity, healthcare and public health sector experience.
Executive level presentations are part of this role. Must be proficient preparing presentation materials using various tools such as Sharepoint, Powerpoint, etc.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
This position requires an active Top Secret clearance
DESIRED:
Experience working within the Department of Health & Human Services
One or more industry standard cybersecurity certification, e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC, HCISPP, CAP, CISSP-ISSMP is preferred.
PMP certification preferred.
