SAIC is seeking an Electronic Warfare Cryptologic Technical Technician IV for the SLQ-32 (v6) in Crane, IN to support the US Navy.  

 

Join SAIC’s mission to protect the American Warfighter every day by working on the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program or SEWIP program. SEWIP is an evolutionary acquisition and incremental development program to upgrade the existing AN/SLQ-32(V) electronic warfare system. SEWIP provides enhanced shipboard electronic warfare for early detection, analysis, threat warning and protection from anti-ship missiles. Responsibility to include a vast understanding of the SEWIP systems to include SLQ-32(v)6.

 
JOB DUTIES:
  • Act as the local technical expert on the AN/SLQ-32 V(6) system in the Crane, IN area.
  • Aid in repairs of the system after startup using extensive knowledge of data flow of the system  
  • Write and review procedures that support testing and troubleshooting

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
  • Experience with writing and reviewing procedures that support testing and troubleshooting
  • SLQ-32(v)6 technical background 
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to travel on short notice to provide ship support
  • Ability to climb on platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite including PowerPoint, Excel  
  • Ability to provide distance support through phone, e-mail, and instant messaging
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
