Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst Principal with a TS/SCI to provide acquisition and program/project management support to the Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP) Non-kinetic Effects Division.  SSDP performs analysis, requirements development and prototyping for future space system acquisitions and the NKE Division performs that function specifically in the cyber and EW mission areas. 


Daily responsibilities may include:

  • Oversees and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. 
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. 
  • Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. 
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. 
  • Ensure contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract. 
  • Develop budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee). 
  • Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Act as an expert in field within the organization.
  • Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives. 
  • Provide guidance to more junior team members to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules.
  • Establish and recommends changes to policies which affect organization.



  • Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or thirteen (13) years of relevant experience with a Master’s Degree.


  • PMP or equivalent DOD certification
  • Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) and/or Electronic Warfare (EW) experience.
  • Space/Counterspace operations experience 


  • Active TS/SCI with the ability and willingness to sit for a Poly.
