SAIC is seeking an experienced individual to join SAIC’s team, in support of the U.S. Southern Command’s Cyber IT Enterprise Services (SCITES), to help provide our Nation for contingency planning, operations, and security operations to Central America, South America, the Caribbean areas.

 

The candidate selected for this position shall: 

  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management

  • Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports

  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

  • Be responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract

  • Responsibilities may include developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met

  • Directly supervise individual contributors (skilled technicians, administrative support) and/or entry level professionals (accountants, entry-level engineers)

  • Manage experienced professionals (e.g. engineers, scientists, financial analysts) who exercise discretion and independent judgment performing assignments

  • Provide end to end project management lifecycle

  • Team with business leaders and technical teams to plan, integrate, document, and execute complex project plans on time and on budget 

  • Champion the integration of industry best practices and innovation to improve operational performance, availability, capacity and cost efficiency

  • Prepares and completes action plans, implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, while resolving problems, and conducting audits

  • Identifies trends, determines system improvements, and implements changes to maintain and improve customer satisfaction     


Qualifications

Required: 
  • BS or equivalent experience
  • PMP & ITIL v3/4 Certifications
  • Top Secret Clearance
  • 10+  experience with people management, to include focus areas and performance plans definitions, training opportunities, and Knowledge Skills and Abilities development for individual team members.

  • Considerable experience with service management, to include overall lifecycle of network services with long term strategy, short term goals, cost models, integration and day-to-day operation of individual services.

  • Considerable experience with project management with project planning, resource allocation, and ongoing tracking of overall execution status.

  • Considerable experience with the design, testing and deployment of enterprise network infrastructure to include management and security of the infrastructure and services using industry best practices.

  • Must possess strengths throughout the entire project management lifecycle, encompassing scoping, initiating, high-level design and architecture, resource utilization, and execution within budget and time parameters.
