Description

SAIC is currently seeking a front-end collaboration services web developer to support the Modeling and Simulation Branch of the Maneuver Battle Lab at Fort Benning, GA. The candidate must be capable of developing websites and collaboration tools in support of potential future Army capabilities and systems related to the Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle Concept (OMFV). Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Plan & design collaboration environments using web applications such as Microsoft SharePoint, FacilitatePro, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams to document insights and collaboration among experiment / conference participants.

  • Design and manage classified and unclassified administrative Knowledge Management Portals, SharePoint sites, and other tools to support constructive simulation.

  • The candidate will be required to coordinate with various agencies to ensure references are synchronized with Army, Program Manager-Maneuver Combat Systems (PM MCS), and Maneuver Center of Excellence requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required:
Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; (4 year equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree)

Selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.

Required Experience includes:
  • Windows 10, Windows Server2012R2/2016 operating systems.

  • Possession or ability to obtain DOD 8570 IAT-I Baseline Certification (CompTIA A+ or equivalent) within 90 days.  

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript

  • Experience with SharePoint 2013/2016 online administration, design, and workflow development

  • Proficiency with SharePoint Designer and InfoPath

  • Experience with end-user or customer support in an IT environment

  • Applicant must be comfortable working independently with minimum supervision in a team environment.

  • Position involves infrequent domestic travel.

Desired Experience/Skills/Attributes include: experience with the Linux operating system and with US Army mission command and collaboration systems.
