SAIC is seeking a engineer to support test and evaluation of optical sensors and associated software at the AFRL’s Kinetic-Kill Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation (KHILS) facility at Eglin AFB, FL.
This activity will support engineering activities across a broad spectrum of KHILS activities including:
· Infrared and RF technology with application toward sensors.
· Hands-on work with hardware: projectors, optics and cameras.
· Experience with data analysis and software.
· Documentation including engineering and managerial reports.
The applicant must have 5 or more years’ experience across a wide range of engineering disciplines, and the ability to apply this experience to creative problem solving. Effective communications skills and the ability to produce clear and concise documentation and presentations in a timely fashion are vital.
