SAIC is seeking a Program Security Officer for a dynamic contract supporting an Intelligence Community customer. Join our fantastic team supporting an exciting mission that impacts national security.
The Program Security Officer will support program security planning and execution which includes, but not limited to the following:
Assist the agency security office in meeting customer program security requirements.
Support all aspects of security for a number of sensitive special access programs (SAPs), including tasking in all eight security disciplines
Provide research and outreach to other program security officers in determining aggregate and individual security classification requirements for all information, data, metadata and other related input
Assessing and advising customer and contractor sites on physical security requirements for SAP accredited areas
Reviewing and coordinating approvals for SAP security classification guides
Conducting classification reviews and providing guidance for SAP data and materials
Ensuring proper handling and accountability of classified documents and materials
Conducting functional areas SAPs for and advising mission partners and contracts to ensure all encompassing SAP security policy compliance
Conducting annual self-inspections and inventories
Providing feedback to the Government on tools and resources needed to ensure compliance with current security policies and procedures
Draft, edit and submit security paperwork for facility and automated information system accreditation
Support the security and management of stand-alone, sensitive and/or SAP networks
Adhere to SAP security regulations, duties and responsibilities
Bachelors Degree and ten (10) years or more of related experience. In lieu of Bachelors Degree, four (4) of additional or related experience.
Active TS/SCI with in-scope CI polygraph; being able to pass the customer's CI polygraph.
Minimum of 5-years of experience providing security support to DoD/Intelligence Community SAPs.
Completed Special Program Security Certification.
Experience incorporating all Intelligence Community Directives, DoD Directives/DoD Manuals and governing SAPs and NISPOM requirements.
Critical thinker with proven problem-solving skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
