Job Description


SAIC is seeking an exceptional QuarterMaster Trainers to lead our training program in multiple African Nations.

  Strengthening the capacity of security sector institutions across multiple African countries is fundamental to the success of AFRICAP Program supporting the US State Department.  SAIC will provide logistics training to specific African countries including: training and mentoring in operations and maintenance (O&M); mentoring O&M personnel; driver and mechanics training; quartermaster training; small arms, ammunition, and stockpile management training; mentoring of training center staff and operations personnel.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Procure receive, store, issue, and account for Class II, III, IV, VI, VII, and Class IX supplies, and mentor the designated militaries in these activities.

Train selected personnel per the approved contractor proposed POI for the quartermaster/ workshop manager training.

This position may require working in austere locations

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON GOVT AWARD - The designated country will be identified upon receipt of DoS Task Order



High School diploma or equivalent GED.


At least 6 years as a military or civilian logistics SME at the Brigade or higher HQs.  Years of experience may be waived based on review of special skills and abilities.


Demonstrated success developing and planning logistical support in a deployed/austere atmosphere.
