SAIC is seeking a senior Business Analyst in support of a concentrated effort at a large Federal Agency to conduct management consulting activities regarding system modernization, scheduling, and road mapping. This includes designing, documenting, validating, and providing technical and business solutions.
Review survey results and conduct interviews and technical workshops
Create and review technical documentation including system design documents, interconnectivity and dependency mappings
Ensure business requirements are fully translated into technical solutions in a timely fashion
Capture and document system mission-based business processes and requirements
Analyze and document results of customer provided technical and operational metrics data
Support analysis of alternatives efforts to include conducting technical research in support of cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and scoring of alternatives based on established evaluation criteria
Support determination of key performance indicators (KPIs) and applicable quality metrics and service level agreements (SLAs) for progress tracking
Collaborates with cross-functional teams
Ensure the quality of the delivered product
Monitor and report status of technical activities to completion
Provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic business process engagements
Defines and develops business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics; Conducts analysis of business processes: current state analysis, gap analysis, benchmarking, best practices identification, organizational assessment, and other related tasks.
Plans and implements process improvements, including: future state design, change management, and transition planning.
Coordinates with business and technology teams in ascertaining system requirements.
Strong written and verbal skills
Agile SDLC and user story development experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience conducting and documenting requirements gap analyses
Experience with technical writing and diagrams
Ability to work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards
Attention to detail and well organized
Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
Minimum of 9 years of experience
Minimum of BA/BS degree
Technical analysis project experience
Experience with Database Consolidation and/or Separation, Data Migration
Experience with Cloud Migration, System Integration capability
Experience in one or more Agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban
