JOB DESCRIPTION:
 

SAIC is seeking a Hardware in the Loop System Administrator to manage planning, preparation, and testing of tactical and strategic missile based evaluations in a simulated environment.  Experience with relevant DoD based missile systems such as Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD), Trident D5, Tomahawk, M501 Non-Line-of-sight launch system is desired.  Integration experience to support a government Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) lab.

 

JOB DUTIES:

 
  • The selected candidates must have system administration credentials and will be responsible for installing and configuring tactical HW/SW in compliance with program instructions to ensure functionality between weapon system elements.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years or more experience or a masters with 3 years or more experience
  • Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Candidate must have industry certifications meeting DoD directive 8140.01 to include Security + or equivalent Experience with loading, configuring and setting up of tactical software
  • Performing benchmark tests and troubleshooting HW and SW integration anomalies
  • Strong UNIX skills to include familiarity with Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, and RedHat operating systems
