JOB DESCRIPTION:


Designs, develops, implements, verifies and tests hardware, algorithms and software and simulation tools to perform guidance, navigation and control. Navigation functions include the statistical processing of measured data points and their substitution into algorithms to determine position orientation and rates of change of the target of interest. Guidance functions include the formulation of specific equations to achieve a desired position, orientation or orbit. Control functions include the design and analyses processes consist of the development of the control algorithms and hardware and software requirements.


JOB DUTIES:

  • Provide fire direction systems engineering and integration expertise for missile system development, integration, prototype production, and test.
  • Provide systems engineering & integration analytical support for hardware and software development on a new major missile system command and control capability.
  • Review and define System, Prime Item and HW/SW level requirements.
  • Review and evaluate system technical specifications, designs, analyses, test plans/procedures, and technical data packages.
  • Interface with other government organizations and development contractors to facilitate preliminary concept exploration and candidate system design.
  • Develop and present briefings, analysis, and reports to government customer.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years or more experience or a masters with 3 years or more experience
  • Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
