SAIC is seeking an individual with a background in engineering or hard science with experience supporting technical acquisition programs from conceptualization to deployment. The position will support the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office’s Acquisition Division in the Department of Homeland Security. The position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical, engineering, and programmatic support to one or more acquisition programs by leveraging systems engineering experience along with other scientists and engineers with various skills and expertise. The position also entails working with other contractors, government organizations, national laboratories, and commercial equipment vendors working with the Government.
Bachelors degree in an Engineering or related science and five (5) years or more experience; OR Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
