SAIC, in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) – Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) - Office of Transforming All-Source Analysis with Location-Based Object Services (TALOS), will deliver enterprise project management support for Task 4 Operations and Maintenance Level control and management for Project Schedules, etc. These services will include design, engineering, and implementations for the entire DIA TALOS service desk support. SAIC is looking for a DIA TALOS team experienced and proven in terms of technology and IT modernization in the US Government Enterprise space.
The Deployment Manager provides oversight and technical guidance over the deployment of Cisco switches, routers, and cable infrastructure and voice systems.
Overall responsibility for deployment management. Demonstrated ability to apply PMI and SELC principles and practices; demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, tasks and teams; PMI PMP certified or other PM Certification preferred. Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same common/standard/migration system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the task order-level Task Managers (TM), Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and insuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner. Performs enterprise wide horizontal integration planning and interfaces to other functional systems, including the development of conceptual systems requirements; systems integration requirements; systems phasing plan; business application consultation; problem tracking/management; and preparation and delivery of presentations.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract. Responsibilities may include developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
