A READY FLEET – MODERNIZED, TRAINED AND SUSTAINED FOR GLOBAL DOMINANCE.

 

The US Navy Sailor 2025, Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) Content Conversion project will employ innovative instructional design and assessment strategies in conjunction with high-velocity learning solutions. The goal of RRL is to move training out of brick and mortar schoolhouses and provide the right training at the right time in the right way to improve the transfer of training to the workplace environment.

Work is estimated to start in March 2020 and positions will located at SAIC facilities in Cookeville, TN and throughout the continental U.S. There are also options to telework.

 

Minimum education and experience requirements will vary depending on role and level. All positions require U.S. citizenship and some positions will require a security clearance.

 

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: Prepares training curricula utilizing development applications to be delivered via computer based training, eLearning environments and learning management systems. Conducts training analysis, designs and develops training curricula, designs and develop multimedia/web storyboards and training, and measures and evaluates effectiveness of training.  Apply appropriate instructional design model (e.g. ADDIE, SAM, Rapid Prototyping) Coordinate and communicate effectively with SMEs. Design and develop content to meet required performance objectives/proficiencies. Use eLearning authoring tools (Lectora, Captivate, Storyline, Government-owned tools)

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience

Desired Qualifications

 

 

Experience with the US Navy: experience in the following-the development and production of PS, SOJT, SDIT, and IFIT
