The US Navy Sailor 2025, Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) Content Conversion project will employ innovative instructional design and assessment strategies in conjunction with high-velocity learning solutions. The goal of RRL is to move training out of brick and mortar schoolhouses and provide the right training at the right time in the right way to improve the transfer of training to the workplace environment.

Work is estimated to start in March 2020 and positions will be located at SAIC facilities in Cookeville, TN along with remote opportunities in Tennessee, Virginia, Florida, DC and Maryland.


Minimum education and experience requirements will vary depending on role and level. All positions require U.S. citizenship and some positions will require a security clearance.


JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidate will interact with team members and project leads to develop engaging content for interactive web- and computer-based training products and instructor-led training materials. The ideal candidate will create top quality graphic designs, illustrations, animations, and other media.  The candidate must be a self-starter who takes ownership of their work.  Attention to detail is required for this position, as well as demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, manage time efficiently, and work in a team environment.

Qualifications

 

   

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic/Multimedia Design, Art, or similar field of study from an accredited college or university is required. A combination of education and work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

A portfolio is required (an online portfolio is preferred)


REQUIRED SKILLS: Demonstrated experience with graphic design applications is required, such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. The candidate must possess strong graphic design and illustration skills. Solid interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively in a team environment are required. Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word is required.

DESIRED SKILLS: Desired skills include experience with:

  • Working experience with Adobe Animate

  • The life cycle of design and development of training content from concept through completion

  • Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline or other e-learning authoring tools

  • Photography, video and audio production

Learning Management Systems and SCORM conformance
