SAIC is seeking a qualified Program/Project Manager to manage an
information technology contract. Besides managing the contract, the selected
individual will be responsible for managing a technical team responsible for
all application development, content management, and SharePoint for the client.
The selected individual must be able to gather business
requirements from stakeholders and translate those requirements into technical
requirements for the team. In addition, you must be able to plan and articulate
a vision of what information technology advances can provide the client.
- Translates the client’s
projects and priorities into tasks and deliverables for the other members
of the contract team.
- Manages and
directs the daily activities of the team of software developers. Evaluates
employee performance, sets expectations and goals for team and individual
staff members, recruits, disciplines and trains staff.

- Coordinates QA
efforts across the team, ensuring that the tasks have been completed with
high quality in a predictable manner.
- Ensure project
documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Develop

- Must have a Bachelors and 14 years of experience OR a Masters and 12 years of experience. May consider a high school education and an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 10
years of combined experience as a project manager/business analyst.
- Served as a project/program
manager on a similar sized effort or larger and at lease once for a
- Served as a
project manager on a team managing development projects in a Lean or Agile
environment at least once previously for a Federal customer.
- Excellent verbal
and written communication skills and the ability to interact
professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject
- Experience with
Microsoft Project or other advanced project management tools
