SAIC is seeking a task lead and program management coordinator to work side by side with NASA Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate senior program and project managers and executive leadership to describe project progress, issues, schedules, and tasking. The task lead will also supervise and coordinate other contract personnel.
This position is contingent on contract award.
Coordinators are responsible for ensuring that programmatic information and documentation is accurate, timely, and available; supporting project management and coordination for multiple activities and providing support for meetings and functions to advance program goals. Typical tasks include:
Develop program/project documentation and presentations
Develop, edit, and maintain document configuration control
Develop integrated milestone charts and documents for use by program management
Compile and ensure validation of technical materials based on input from multiple sources
Maintain and catalog reports, technical plans, task plans, milestone schedules and status, budgetary documents
Support project reviews, program reviews, and other meetings and functions
Update SharePoint with appropriate information
Shall possess demonstrated competencies in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft SharePoint, Xerox Docushare, and general teleconferencing and web conferencing support activities.
Candidates should be familiar with government consulting and have experience working in an office environment. They should be self-motivated and capable of working independently but also be able to function in team environments with shared responsibilities.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years experience, and have a basic understanding of NASA and/or government/aerospace research and design activities.
Must be a US Citizen.
Experience with Aviation, NASA or Aeronautics
