SAIC is seeking a Senior Mission Assurance (MA) / Quality Assurance (QA) Systems Engineer to join our Chantilly, VA based team. The following tasks are representative of those that will be accomplished at the request of the customer. This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI with Poly.
Perform as lead SETA in customer’s MA/QA branch
Manage, organize and synthesize large amounts of data related to parts procurement, qualification and failure and prepare thorough yet concise presentations to leadership
Participate in development contractors’ audits and peer reviews to support verification that program activities comply with requirements
Review develop contractors’ problem advisory alerts and Government-Industry Data Exchange Program information for applicability and assess the contractors’ corrective actions for appropriateness and sufficiency
Participate and represent the customer in various MA/QA forums and boards (e.g. Parts, Materials and Processes Control Board; Qualification Review Board; Failure Review Board/Material Review Board; Corrective Action Board; Issue Management Board; Risk Management Board)
Attend prime contractor and subcontractor programmatic and technical reviews (e.g. PMR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, pre-ship and other meetings) to provide technical and programmatic-based recommendations
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
