SAIC is currently seeking to support the USG in an effort to better understand, help predict, and ultimately influence possible war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.  This vital mission will help warn policymakers so that appropriate actions can be taken to save human lives.  SAIC is seeking qualified intelligence analysts to support this vital mission.  As part of this work, they will conduct intelligence research and production.  This missions will include but is not limited to:


Job Description


  • Assess intelligence reports, debriefing notes, and other information with regards to possible war crimes.

  • Create customer facing intelligence materials in both a written and visual form.

  • Write publications including short pieces for high level customers, longer analytic papers, and substantive briefings.

  • Attend briefings, meeting, conferences, and TDYs as needed.

  • Organize external outreach to include contacting SMEs, setting up and monitoring deliverables and attending to any logistical requirements as they appear.

  • Prepare for conferences and panels.  Includes material preparation, invitee logistics, and general administration 

Duty Location: Northern Virginia.



Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 


Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.


Required:

  • Experience related to analyzing war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide activity.

  • Bachelor’s degree in an area related to Intelligence or other distinguished program from an accredited college or university.

  • Demonstrable ability to research, evaluate, correlate, analyze, integrate and interpret information from multiple intelligence and operational sources, and then report out in both written and oral presentations the results of this analysis.

  • Active TS SCI w/Poly


  • Desired:


    • Strong Background in Middle East, particularly in the areas of Intelligence and/or Command and Control.

    • Strong background or expertise in the law of armed conflict.

    • Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies.

    • Pursues developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.

    • Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.

    • Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.

    • Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.


     


    Duty Location: Northern Virginia.
