Description

The successful candidate will be a proactive, forward-leaning self-starter able to work in a fast-paced organization with exceptional judgment and tact to interface with senior customers as well as industry partners. The candidate will work with customer and fellow contractor personnel to support this critical and exciting program that has broad reach across many organizations. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and an ability to document is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly

• Familiarity with the wireless telecommunications industry, technologies and trends to provide technical breadth on embedded processing and wireless and mobile communication areas to include knowledge of current and emerging commercial markets, devices at the user-edge of the network, and fixed infrastructure of the mobile network
• Extensive experience with technical project management
• An understanding of commercial industry business environments and practices
• Ability to monitor the progress of multiple concurrent and highly visible requirements with the judgment and ability to know when to initiate corrective actions
• Ability to effectively communicate complex/complicated topics with technical and non-technical audiences
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and judgment to navigate and solve challenging problems
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
• Apply technical depth to monthly reviews and technical exchange meetings, providing recommendations on future courses of action
• Translate and communicate deep technical information into terms that are applicable and understandable to people at multiple knowledge levels
• Identify cross-cutting enablement opportunities (e.g. building blocks) traceable back to a mission need
• Apply imagination to identify and act on opportunities to maximize mission value
• Translate programmatic and technical ideas into actions
• Review designs, testing approaches, etc and provide recommendations to improve them

 • Direct experience or practical working knowledge of commercial practices (especially practical application of lean and agile methods) for program management, design, development, production and test
