SAIC has several contingent opportunities available supporting The US Navy Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) Content Conversion project, a large Government program.
This effort will employ innovative instructional design and assessment strategies in conjunction with new and modernized technology. The goal of RRL is to provide the right training at the right time in the right way to improve the transfer of training to the work environment. RRL is a holistic approach to reimagining how the Navy trains its Sailors. It will transform the Navy’s current training model to deliver training across the continuum of a career using modern learning techniques that improve comprehension and retention of knowledge.
These positons are contingent upon contract award and can be located in Cookeville, TN, Virginia Beach, VA, Pensacola, FL, or DC Metro Area.
The Multimedia Design Principal designs and produces graphics in support of training, proposals, media, and the like. Provides technical knowledge and expertise on computer graphics, digital photography, videography, Flash animations, etc., Designs and develops multimedia applications, systems and products involving computer graphics and interactive computing such as computer-based systems for personal computers or CD-ROM applications. Incorporates software applications in multiple technology media systems, such as graphics, animation, text, and sound.
Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives
Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective for desired results.
Effects of decisions are long-lasting and heavily influence the future course of the organization. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would result in the expenditure of large amounts of company resources. LIASON: Serves as consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.
BASIC EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution plus ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience.
Position requires ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Preference will be given to individuals with active current clearance.
US Citizenship required.
